The council option
Councils offer booked hard-waste collections, but you often wait weeks for a slot, there are limits on volume and item types, and everything has to be out on the kerb by a set time. Miss the date and you wait again.
The private option
Private hard rubbish removal happens whenever suits you, we take it from wherever it is (not just the kerb), and there is no waiting. Handy when you are selling, moving, or just want it gone now.
Which should you use?
No rush and it is a small pile? The council run is free, so use it. Need it gone fast, or it is a big or awkward load? Private removal saves you the wait and the heavy lifting.
