Fridges need degassing
Fridges and freezers contain gases that must be removed safely before disposal, which is why you cannot just leave them on the kerb. Doing it properly keeps you on the right side of the rules and better for the environment.
Recycle the metal and parts
Whitegoods are mostly steel and recyclable parts. Washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and ovens can be broken down and recycled rather than sent to landfill. We sort them for recycling where we can.
